My husband and I lived in a 100-year-old house in Wilmington’s historic district. After 38 years of walking from the third floor to the laundry room in the basement we decided to purchase a one level house with a simpler floor plan. Our basement was full of tools and stored items, the attic was full of three decades of “stuff” and, of course, our living spaces were jammed and crammed. We were truly paralyzed by the thought of decluttering, moving, and organizing a new house. That is until Kendall was recommended by a realtor. It is almost impossible to describe how much Kendall made our move possible. Her organizational skills are remarkable, First she helped us declutter the house by selling, donating or discarding hundreds of household, garden and shop items. This by itself was an enormous project but Kendall’s efficiency and guidance was remarkable. Next, she help “stage” our house for potential buyers. She coordinated the two-day move to our new house. This involved packing, directing the movers, placing things in the appropriate rooms. Then, she spent days helping us unpack, discard paper and boxes, and organizing the new place. Her decorating skills are wonderful, surpassed only by her ability to organize furniture, clothes, and kitchen items. At times Kendall had to be firm with us as we naturally wanted to hold on to various “treasures” that we needed. Kendall was able to convince us that the items were neither treasures nor needed. In fact, now we do not know why we kept so much stuff. Kendall seems to have endless energy….physical and mental. She has unlimited knowledge about decluttering and organizing. And she has a wonderful sense of humor. We give Kendall our highest recommendation. At least five out of five stars….more stars if possible.
